FreiGeist Web & StartUp Conference in Cologne

May 3, 2010

FreiGeist award to be issued for the first time – On 6 May 2010, High-Tech Gründerfonds, Thierhoff Consulting and Censet GmbH are hosting the first FreiGeist Conference at Clublounge Nord of Cologne’s RheinEnergieStadion football stadium. Founders, web entrepreneurs, business angels, students, consultants and all who are interested in start-ups, the internet and new media are invited to the Dome capital of Cologne.

The focus of the one-day conference is a framework programme which will feel the pulse of the web & IT scenes – presentations and workshops given by specialists. In addition, testimonials by successful founders and best-practice examples will provide exciting insights. As at last year’s successful “StartUp Camp 2009”, participants will include Microsoft, Google, Sun and others. Forward-looking start-ups and entrepreneurs can request consideration for the FreiGeist award, which is to be given for the first time. Following the conference six young enterprises from North Rhine Westphalia (NRW), selected by the NRW media cluster beforehand, will have an opportunity to present themselves to potential investors at “NRW start-ups meet VCs”.
