High-Tech Gründerfonds invests in yourTime Solutions GmbH

The Potsdam-based company yourTime Solutions GmbH gains High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) as investor. Capital of about € 500,000 will support new development and market entry of the ‘yourMail’ software solution.

yourTime Solutions develops and markets software for professional, automated time and e-mail management. ‘yourMail’ is an initial product to be launched in 2011 that will return sovereignty to companies and their staff as well as private users over their inboxes.

The growing flood of e-mail is increasingly a burden on employees of businesses in all sectors. Ever more working time is lost and staff stress levels are rising. The team at yourTime Solutions has devised a comprehensive solution that makes a convincing case for itself in both commercial and user-oriented terms. The intelligent solution comprises all the ways of raising efficiency in dealing with the e-mail medium.

‘yourMail’ provides comprehensive e-mail management based on state-of-the-art time management methodology. The complexity of typical information worker processes is lowered by practical and context-related logic at the team and project level. This is achieved by incorporating an intelligent filter, storage, filing and knowledge management system.

The founders, Danny Reimer, Jan Johannsen and Martin Geier, look forward to working with High-Tech Gründerfonds. The capital from the first funding round will be used to develop the ‘yourMail’ solution as a free single-user version for integration in Microsoft Outlook. The ‘Professional’ and ‘Team Edition’ versions will subsequently enhance the portfolio.

About High-Tech Gründerfonds
High-Tech Gründerfonds invests risk capital in young, high-potential technology companies that convert promising research results in business success. The seed finance provided aims to enable start-ups to take their R&D project through to the creation of a prototype, a proof of concept or to market launch. High-Tech Gründerfonds provides EUR 500,000 of the seed finance and may invest up to a total of two million euros per business in subsequent rounds. Investors in this public/private partnership are the German Federal Ministry for Business and Technology, the KfW Banking Group as well as the six industrial groups of BASF, Deutsche Telekom, Siemens, Robert Bosch, Daimler and Carl Zeiss. High-Tech Gründerfonds has a fund volume of about 272 million euros.
